Thoughtful Valentine’s Gifts
Here are some small present ideas, perhaps for accompaniments or as individual gifts that can contribute to a great Valentine’s Day experience.
Print
They feel good, they look good, they’re easy to design, and they’re so light they can be hung anywhere. A canvas print could incorporate a design of your own choosing, but for Valentine’s Day it needs to say something about your relationship – something loving, classy and kind.
Named rose
‘A rose by any other name would smell as sweet’ said Juliet, regarding the feud between her family and that of Romeo. However, in the 22nd Century, we do have the power to name roses, thanks to these marvellous gift sets that also include a calendar poster and a booklet informing you on the best-growing practices for your rose.
Personalised necklace
There are hundreds of different designs that you can ‘make your own’, including interlocking hearts engraved with names; stones and plating; infinity bracelets and other designs. A necklace or personalised bracelet makes a wonderful gift.
Caricatures
Prints, photographs, and other pictorial displays of your love are excellent gifts that can be hung up for everyone to see. For something a little different you could pay an online artist to paint or draw a caricature of the two of you, using an uploaded photograph as the template. Do your research and make sure you choose an artist who is likely to flatter you both!
Toiletries…
…but the right ones! Don’t just buy the packs that have been reduced by 40% on the display edges. Instead, aim for a set that she actually wants, perhaps by asking friends for advice, and then splash out on perfume, shower sets or something similar. Please make sure the word luxury appears on the label, but showing that you’ve done your research and bothered to care is worth mega brownie points whether it’s luxurious or not.
Naming a star
An interstellar show of affection from beyond the heavens, and one which has several price levels; the more luxurious packages include bottles of champagne and silver plated presentation folders. ed!
